Editorial & Medical Review Policy
Everything on this website concerns medical decisions, so it is written and checked accordingly. This page sets out who produces the content, who reviews it, and how it is kept current.
Who writes and reviews this content
All clinical content is prepared by the Andro Expertise medical team and reviewed before publication by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zülfü Sertkaya, a urologist and andrologist certified by the European Board of Urology (FEBU) and Head of Urology at Biruni University Hospital, Istanbul. No clinical page is published without his review.
How we source information
Clinical statements are based on the guidelines of the European Association of Urology (EAU), peer-reviewed urological and sexual medicine literature, and the manufacturer documentation for the implant systems we use. Where we describe our own results — such as surgical volume or infection rate — those figures come from our own operative records.
What this content is not
These pages are general medical education. They describe how procedures work in typical cases, not what is right for you specifically. Individual anatomy, medical history and medication all change the picture, which is why every treatment decision here follows an individual consultation. See our medical disclaimer for the full position.
Corrections and review cycle
Clinical pages are reviewed at least annually, and sooner whenever guidelines change or a device we use is updated. Each page carries the date it was last reviewed. If you believe something here is inaccurate or out of date, write to info@androexpertise.com and we will investigate and correct it.
Advertising and commercial relationships
This website is published by the clinic that provides the treatments described, so it is promotional in nature and we state that plainly. We accept no third-party advertising, no paid product placement and no affiliate commission. We implant devices from Coloplast, Boston Scientific and Rigicon, and we are certified implanters for those systems; device choice is made on clinical grounds and discussed with you before surgery.
