Who is responsible for your data

Andro Expertise, operating within Biruni University Hospital, Istanbul, Turkey, is the data controller for information submitted through this website. For any data protection question or request, contact info@androexpertise.com.

What we collect and why

When you complete a consultation form or message us on WhatsApp, we collect the contact details you provide (such as name, email address, telephone number and country) together with any information you choose to share about your symptoms or medical history. We use this solely to answer your enquiry, assess whether we can help, and — if you proceed — to plan and deliver your treatment. Information you give us about your health is special category data, and we process it on the basis of your explicit consent and for the purposes of providing healthcare.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Website analytics and advertising technology

This website loads the Meta pixel, which allows us to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and may be used by Meta to show our advertising to comparable audiences. The pixel records page views and form submissions as events. It does not receive the clinical details you type into a form. You can limit this tracking through your browser settings, your device's ad-tracking controls, or your advertising preferences on Meta's platforms.

Form submissions made through this website are processed by Netlify, our hosting provider, which stores the submitted content so we can retrieve it.

International transfers

Because we are based in Turkey, information you send us is transferred outside the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. Where we use service providers such as our hosting and messaging platforms, your data may also be processed in the countries in which those providers operate. We transfer this information on the basis of your explicit consent to contact us and to receive treatment, and we apply the safeguards described in this notice to it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to treatment are retained for no longer than is necessary to deal with them and are then deleted. Where you become a patient, your medical records are retained for the period required by Turkish healthcare law, which obliges us to keep clinical records for a defined minimum term.

Your rights

You may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, receive a copy in a portable format, or withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out, and where law requires us to retain clinical records we will tell you. To exercise any of these rights, email info@androexpertise.com. If you are in the EU or UK you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

Security and confidentiality

This website is served over HTTPS. Enquiries are handled by a limited number of named coordinators bound by medical confidentiality, and clinical records are held within the hospital's own record systems. Patient identity is never used in marketing material without separate, specific written consent.
